Gulfshore Ballet is Lee County’s premier not-for-profit school of Classical Ballet. The company prepares students for professional dancing careers and promotes academic, athletic, cultural, and social growth and aims to continually expand the school of dancers through the inclusion of additional students, regardless of gender, ethnicity, or personal circumstances.
What is your primary product or service?
Study of classical ballet. Beyond receiving ballet training of the highest caliber, Gulfshore Ballet students learn self-discipline, concentration, focus an creative expression-all of which serve to build character, confidence and a positive self-image.

Why did you choose to start a business in Lee County?
Gulfshore Ballet has been in Lee County for 18 years with internationally acclaimed teaching faculty. Lee County was chosen because there was a need for a classical ballet school and gives the young population a unique opportunity to study with professional instructors of the highest caliber.
Who is your target market/audience?
Gulfshore Ballet serves all of Lee County, which includes Cape Coral, Fort Myers, North Fort Myers, and Lehigh Acres. Students from surrounding counties such as Sarasota, Naples, Bonita Springs have also been enrolled at Gulfshore Ballet.

In addition to learning the techniques of classical ballet they learn self-discipline, concentration, creative expression, confidence, positive self-image, and an opportunity to apply for admission to prestigious Ballet Companies and Colleges.

Gulfshore ballet has continued to thrive in Lee County for over 18 years. It continues to be the only Classical Ballet school in Lee county. Many graduation students from Gulfshore Ballet have been accepted to prestigious ballet schools such as Boston Ballet, New York City Ballet, Miami City Ballet, Alvin Ailey Ballet, and many others. Gulfshore ballet also has the opportunity to give back to the Lee County community with scholarship program and volunteer teaching for the undeserved population of Lee County.
