Lee County, Florida’s Sweetest Success Story
One of Lee County, Florida’s sweetest success stories is Norman Love Confections world-renowned chocolate and dessert salons.
Norman Love is a chocolate connoisseur, founder of Norman Love Confections, and the first chef chocolatier to be inducted into Dessert Professional Magazine’s Chocolatier Hall of Fame.
After serving as The Ritz-Carlton’s corporate executive pastry chef for 13 years, Love turned his passion for cacao into Norman Love Confections, creating a Southwest Florida chocolate empire that produces as many as 7 million pieces of award-winning chocolates per year – no mass assembly lines involved.
Norman Love Confections has four chocolate and dessert salons across Southwest Florida, with a fifth location set to open on McGregor Boulevard in Fort Myers summer of 2016.
Since it was founded in 2001, Norman Love Confections has earned national and international acclaim from The Daily Telegraph, Food Network & Cooking Channel, Dessert Professional Magazine, USA Today, The Oprah Magazine, National Geographic, and more.
Love went from operating out of a 700-square-foot room to now:
- A 6,000-square-foot chocolate factory
- A 5,000-square-foot pastry, bakery and gelato production center
- A 10,000-square-foot warehouse
- More than 200 restaurant and hotel accounts, including a partnership with Princess Cruises
Norman Love Confections has a team of dedicated and passionate artisans that produce everything from naked love cakes, handmade French crepes, and creamy gelato; to mouth-watering chocolate icons adorned with polka dots, swirls, and golden flakes.
