The Lee County Economic Development Office (EDO) participates in the quarterly cost of living index survey with the Council for Community & Economic Research (C2ER) to accurately gauge the affordability and economic vitality of the Cape Coral – Fort Myers metropolitan statistical area. This collaborative effort helps the EDO identify areas of economic opportunity and improvement for the community.
Florida Power & Light offers a cost of living calculator through its WonderFL website to determine the change in expenditures for moving across regions within the state of Florida, which uses data from the C2ER.
