The School District of Lee County is a model school system that educates more than 85,000 students in grades K-12. In Lee County, the system of one neighborhood, one school, has been replaced with an open-enrollment system, which allows parents to choose where their child(ren) attend school. The School District of Lee County’s Student Assignment allows parents to rank schools close to where they live, and they can increase the chances of receiving their top choice by participating in the district’s lottery system.
